Position Summary
The Test and Service Engineer will be part of our service group and focus on responding to customer needs. The successful candidate will be technically oriented with strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. The position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Start-up, analyze, test and debug automated machinery
- Test and service existing equipment at customer’s facilities
- Analyze test results and write professional service reports that meet customer specifications
- Train customers to operate machinery according to Taylor-Winfield specifications
- Provide technical input to proposals including materials/labor
- Ability to travel – domestic/international; approximately up to 30% - 40%
Minimum Requirements
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Prefer experience in either Resistance, Induction, Arc Welding or Robotic Systems
- Disciplines should include but are not limited to: PLC troubleshooting, Machinery Set-up,
Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electronics
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong problem solving tool kit to determine root cause
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated technical writing skills ability
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Self-starter able to work in a fast paced team-oriented environment

Proposal Engineers – Mill Process Equipment and Automated Assembly Product Groups

These entry-level positions with career growth potential will report to the respective Product Managers. The Mill Process Equipment product group focuses on providing steel processing and related equipment to the steel industry. The Automated Assembly product group focuses on engineered assembly solutions for manufacturing processes. The successful candidates will work within one of these product groups and join a dynamic team bringing high-tech processes and engineered solutions to customers worldwide.

Position Summary
The Proposal Engineer is part of our sales team and will focus on responding to customer inquiries by matching machine and upgrade solutions to customer requirements. The successful candidate will be technically oriented with strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Both positions require the following knowledge, skills and abilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Match customer needs with machine and upgrade solutions
- Prepare technical and commercial offers/proposals to customers
- Follow-up on proposals and be a resource for all customer inquiries
- Facilitate customer meetings
- Technical and commercial “go-to” person inside and outside of company
- Product Team member who will influence the growth of the team
- Manage assigned orders from inception to acceptance by customer
Minimum Requirements
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCad/Solid Works preferred
- 2-3 years industrial business-to-business sales experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Demonstrated technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Travel – domestic/international; approximately 5% to start, up to 30% maximum with experience
- Self-starter able to work in a fast paced team-oriented environment
